Based on ESCORT's award-winning radar and laser detection technology, the Qi45 provides long range warning against conventional and instant-on X, K, and SuperWide Ka-band radar guns, including POP mode. The Qi45 incorporates a highly sensitive laser circuit into the front receiver in order to provide an immediate alert of a targeting laser gun. PASSPORT�s exclusive AutoSensitivity mode intelligently reduces false alarms created by security motion sensors and automatic door openers. In addition, the Qi45 incorporates ESCORT�s exclusive state of the art Digital Signal Processing (DSP), providing the perfect balance of long-range warning and false alarm rejection. Conventional Highway and Auto No X modes are also provided.

Extreme Radar Protection
The new Passport Qi45 radar detection system offers the award winning performance you have come to expect from Escort. The PASSPORT Qi45 includes full X, K, and SuperWide Ka radar capability, Digital Signal Processing for superior range and reduced false alarms, our patented Mute and AutoMute, audible and visual band alerts, and all the performance you'd expect from ESCORT.
Brilliant Display
The Qi45 features an ultra-bright red display with 280 LEDs. The device displays three high-resolution meter modes: standard Bar Graph display or ExpertMeter and SpecDisplay for more advanced users. ExpertMeter tracks and displays up to 8 radar signals simultaneously, and SpecDisplay provides actual numeric frequency for any radar signal.
Auto-Sensitivity Mode
Passport's AutoSensitivity mode provides long-range warning, with minimum false alarms. In this mode, Passport�s internal computer continuously analyzes all incoming signals and intelligently adjusts the sensitivity circuits.
You can also select conventional "Highway" mode, which provides the maximum sensitivity, or Auto NoX, which provides the same sensitivity as "Auto" but turns off X-band completely (full sensitivity is maintained on all other bands).
Safety Warning System
The Qi45 also offers Safety Warning Systems (SWS) detection. This safety feature warns you of the presence of potential road hazards by detecting signals from safety transmitting devices.

Add on a Laser Shifter Pack

Total Tracking Laser
Unlike radar signals, which are highly reflective, laser signals have very poor reflective characteristics. Many of today's laser detectors do not have the high sensitivity necessary to detect laser within a large "field of view." The Vector 955 incorporates Beltronics' best laser detection, which uses twin laser ports to detect energy far outside the main laser beam--including off-axis signals--providing a 360-degree field of view. The alerts provided by your unit are the same whether signals are received from the front or rear.
How Safety Radar Works
Safety Warning System, or SWS, uses a modified K-band radar signal to alert users of highway construction or maintenance, highway hazard zone advisories, weather-related hazards, travel information/convenience, and fast-/slow-moving vehicles. The SWS safety radar system has 64 possible messages (60 currently allocated), all of which can be displayed on your Vector 955.
